Today the Lord Lieutenant of Lincolnshire unveiled a board commemorating the opening of the Boston Grand Sluice in October 1766. It is one of only a few sluices still serving its original purpose and still in its original condition. A great feat of engineering.

Continued improvements
Work has continued over the winter months to improve the entrance of the marina. The floodlights, level entrance-way and ropes add to the ambience and also the safety for all customers both night and day.
New-look entrance
We have revamped the entrance with new planters and sculptured box balls.

Work has been ongoing for some time installing a new and upgraded power supply for each berth at the marina, and is now nearly finished. New letterbox
A new letterbox was installed today on the main entrance gate to the Marina. This will not be cleared on a daily basis however, so for any important/urgent correspondence, please use either email or the postal address on your invoice.
New seating
New wooden benches have been delivered today. A good positive response from moorers who were present and tested them out in the glorious afternoon sunshine was encouraging. More seating will follow shortly.
